About The Meeting
The purpose of this CME program is to review the basics of head and neck radiology. Lectures will focus on the spaces of the head & neck, oral cavity & oropharynx, temporal bone, larynx, brachial plexus and lymph nodes. Each topic will highlight imaging techniques, normal anatomy and common pathology with an emphasis on how the imaging findings directly affect patient management and treatment. A workshop on temporal bone imaging will emphasize anatomy, pathology and a systematic approach to image evaluation. Both adult and pediatric pathology will be covered.
Target Audience
This meeting is primarily designed for community radiologists who wish to gain a better understanding of head and neck radiology and neuroradiologists with a desire to obtain further understanding on how imaging findings directly impact patient care. ENT physicians, neurologists and other physicians who care for patients with head and neck disorders should also find this program beneficial.
Educational Objectives
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:
  • Optimize imaging protocols to evaluate head and neck pathology more accurately and efficiently.
  • Integrate state of the art imaging protocols to effectively evaluate head and neck pathology into clinical practice.
  • Identify normal anatomical features and common anomalies of the head and neck.
  • Recognize image characteristics of pathology in the head and neck.
  • Discuss the impact of imaging on care and management in patients with head and neck pathology.
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.

Course Organization
This program is planned and organized by Educational Symposia, the leader in diagnostic imaging education since 1975.
