About This Course

About The Meeting
The focus of this symposium is a review of clinical applications concerning the diagnosis, treatment and management of the musculoskeletal disorders. Modern imaging strategies, surgical correlation and the need for intra-disciplinary teamwork when deciding the most effective patient management will be addressed. Faculty share techniques and tips in image interpretation of musculoskeletal injuries and pathology. Information gained during this symposium is geared to improve diagnostic capabilities and expand clinical applications. The faculty has been selected for their teaching ability, as well as for their expertise.

Target Audience
This CME activity is designed to educate diagnostic imaging physicians who supervise and interpret musculoskeletal MRI. In addition, referring physicians who order musculoskeletal MRI should gain an appreciation of the strengths and limitations of these types of procedures. Technologists should also find this meeting beneficial.

Educational Objectives
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:
  • Incorporate state of the art imaging protocols to accurately assess musculoskeletal pathology and injury.
  • Assess patients with joint pathology in a non-invasive manner utilizing MRI.
  • Recognize the strengths and limitations of MRI for the management of sports related injuries.
  • Describe the MR appearance of muscle and tendon injury.
  • Differentiate musculoskeletal masses and tumors.
  • Modify image sequencing to accurately evaluate joint replacement and minimize artifact.
  • Discuss the utility of imaging when used to guide therapeutic musculoskeletal injections.
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.

Early registration is strongly suggested. There will be a $100 surcharge for anyone registering after September 25, 2018. Minimum and maximum attendance levels have been established for this meeting. If your registration cannot be accepted, you will be issued a full tuition refund.


Tuition for live webcast includes participation for one registrant. Each registrant must sign-in on a separate computer to receive credit. Prior to the meeting we will send you further information about the log in process. We will also send you a comprehensive color electronic course syllabus via email. There will be a $100 surcharge for anyone registering after September 25, 2018.

Please note: A minimum number of registrants is required to live webcast this course. If the minimum number is not met by September 7, 2018 the live webcast activity may be cancelled and a full refund issued.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be received in writing. A $50 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations. Refunds requested in writing prior to September 7, 2018 will be issued for the amount of tuition paid less the $50 processing fee. No refunds will be made on or after that date.
